The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has approved MGM Resorts International’s (NYSE:MGM) acquisition of the operating rights of the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. That paves the way for that deal to close next month. MGM announced last September it’s paying $1.6 billion to private equity giant Blackstone (NYSE:BX) for Cosmopolitian’s operating rights.
